ABOUT DUE EAST
Hi, I’m Mollie. I started Due East to highlight the subtle connections between Moroccan interiors and your home through a curated collection of rugs and textiles. Each piece is sourced in Morocco and celebrates the talents and traditions of local artisans.
If you travel Due East from the state of Texas (where I’m from!) along the 31° N latitude line, you'll hit Morocco which, I believe, establishes a unique connection between the two places that I want to continuously nurture. Whether it's straw mats or wool Beni Ourain rugs, Due East’s collections will always include pieces that remind me of the design and style of Texas, and celebrate authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
There is a rich combination of artistry, history and culture that is reflected in the Moroccan goods and products I specifically source from personal relationships with vendors.
